Our social values

Supporting society

Our connection with society plays a vital role in defining our identity and our professional endeavours. Whether assisting homeowners in challenging circumstances or resolving disputes among parties, thereby injecting millions of pounds back into the local economy, we perceive our role as one of silent support in the backdrop of society.

Supporting businesses

As a result of the work we do, we have helped to free up circa £53.4 million which was trapped in claims, disputes, or complaints, meaning more businesses receiving the money they need to pay wages or suppliers.

Supporting consumers

We have enabled over 5,000 consumers to move on with their lives, finding successful outcomes to their problems, reducing the stress they had been under and giving them confidence to purchase again in the home improvement or renewable energy sectors.

Encouraging lending

Our work with the financial services has led to lenders becoming more willing to support consumers in sectors they used to find too risky. This means more consumers can afford products or services across more sectors, meaning more spending and ultimately more jobs or better job retention.

Healthy employers

As a result of increasing interest in our services, we now employ over 25 people directly, whilst also providing work to over 60 different suppliers.

Giving back

We are also a patron of the industry charity, Band of Builders, showcasing our commitment to the construction industry and those within it, in need of support.

You can’t buy success, but you can outsource to successful people.

National Living Wage Employer

The Living Wage Commission was set up in January 2016 to oversee the calculation of the Living Wage rates in London and the UK.

The Commission, drawn from leading Living Wage accredited employers, trade unions, civil society, and independent experts, supports and promotes the goals of the Living Wage as an attainable benchmark for employers committed to ensuring their employees earn a wage that meets the real cost of essential goods and services.

The Living Wage is set by a formula based on what happens to living standards from one year to the next. The Commission provides a transparent decision-making forum to resolve specific judgements about how to incorporate policy changes and new sources of data into the calculation. It also advises on how to manage extreme year-to-year variations from general rises in living costs.
